Caster's Pain build By Chrono!
Well guys I came up with this build for pvp, and as I have never seen it around, I give me credit for it
Here it is:
Name: Caster's Pain
Class:Warrior/anything
Attributes:
Axe:16 (12+3+1)
Strenght:10 (9+1)
Tactics: 10 (9+1)
Skills:
SkullCrack [elite]
Distrupting Chop
Distracting Blow
Wild Blow (or "Fear Me!", but I prefer wild blow)
"For Great Justice!"
Sprint
Healing Signet
Rez Signet
The point of this build is to daze as fast as u can a monk or an elementalist; well any kind of caster u are in front of. Start usign "For Great Justice!" to keep the adrenaline bonus on. Start collecting adrenaline, while using Distracting Blow to deny the use of skills. When u have collectedenough adrenaline to use Skull Crack and Distrupting Blow, use distrupting blow on an fastidious skill to make it have a long cool down, and then use skull crack asthe enemy uses a magic skill, to daze him. That's it! Use sprint if ur target runs, but anoter nice thing of this build is that if u run after an enemy without using sprint, and u activate a distactive skill, u'll near surely lock the nect skill te target will use as he will have to stop. Use this method only when u have SkullCrack fullfilled with adrenaline. Healing signet for ur own healing and rez signet to rez ur teammates.
P.S:I give myself credit for this build but if someone already thought about it, and posted it, don't get angry xD
I accept suggestion and ratings form 1 (minimum) to 10 (maximum).

Have you tried using Headbutt instead?

Well really not....the point of this build is to deny the use of magic spells of the target.....headbutt gives a lot of damage, but doesn't give the most important thing of this build to the target: the dazed condition.

plague touch, I also recommend putting protector's strike in there as the activation time will help you interrupt spells with fast cast times.

I already tried to use plague touch but it wasn't very usefull at all......
and can u explain better how u would use protector's strike? I've not understood it very well......do u want to use that skill only to stop fast casting skills while the target is dazez? If that's the utility of that skill, it would be nice to use only aganist skills like reversal of fortune, which would need only 3/4 of a sec to cast even under the dazing effect. Thx for the suggestion Ithink I'll swap it with wild blow....

Try a Sword W/A with Beguiling Haze... you're up, close and personal anyways, and an interrupt shouldn't be that hard anymore... and a sword can still pack punch without an elite.

Were you using it with Headbutt? The object of Headbutt and Plague Touch is to use Headbutt to deal damage and make yourself dazed, then use Plague Touch to transfer the dazed to your target.

The reason Protector's Strike was suggested is because when attacking a dazed foe, you can activate Prot Strike to hit your target faster than if you were to continue swinging away normally. A good caster with dazed on them will try to time your attacks and cast in between then, but if you use something like Prot Strike, you can strike twice in a row quickly.

If you use a Silencing weapon while you activate Headbutt and transfer the Daze, you get a lot more mileage out of it than Skullcrack. Guildwiki says that at 12 strength, it lasts about 30 seconds, which is definitely a pain for casters - plus you get the damage bonus.
Quote from Guildwiki:
Quote:
If using the combo with Plague Touch as W/N, consider a quick switch to a Silencing weapon. The 33% increase in Dazed duration will be applied twice: when Headbutt is used and another time when it is transferred. That way, the Dazed duration on the target can be increased by 7/9ths (~78%, or ~30 seconds at Strength 12).
